HISTORY

Calcar® was formed in 1993 to meet OEM vehicle manufactures needs for a quick and easy system for conveying essential information about vehicle operation to the consumer.

As automobile systems became more complex and owner's manuals became more difficult to read, the need for a fast, informative, easy to use digest of the basic operating features for each vehicle became paramount. In response to that need, Calcar® developed Quick Tips™, a customized quick reference guide that allows each new car owner to quickly and easily locate specific information about their vehicle's features.

Much of the industry recognition accorded Quick Tips™ is based on the fact that every manufacturer using this product has increased its CSI rating. Currently, Quick Tips™ is expanding into electronic versions of quick reference guides, a natural evolution of our product.
